With 90 operations, the free surgery camp was successfully completed

The long-planned free surgery camp was successfully completed in January. It was delivered through collaboration with the local County Surgeon & team, the Resident Medical officer, the entire Kinondo facility staff and a team of doctors from the USA, led by Dr. William Herbert Brown who traveled to Kinondo to deliver their services pro bono.

The target was to perform 50 surgeries. The demand was far greater than that, so the camp was prolonged and a total of 90 surgeries were successfully done, after screening of 336 patients.

Big thanks to Dr William Brown and his team!
And big thanks to friends and supporters that contributed to make this possible!

The screening services were offered from 8 am to 5 pm during the surgery week
