The TBA's do an important work at Kinondo Kwetu Hospital.

Mwanamkasi Mohammed is one of about 40 Traditional Birth Attendants, TBA:s, that work for Kinondo Kwetu Hospital. Their task is to identify pregnant mothers in their area and bring them to the hospital for antenatal care. They also play an imortant role during and after delivery as a supporting partner to the delivering mother.

3-4 babies are born every day at Kinondo Kwetu Hospital
