Celebration of International Blood Donation Day

Blood Donor Day June on 14th was celebrated from June 10th-19th

The activity was organized by the Kwale county government and officially inaugurated by H.E Governor Salim Mvurya Kwale county who also participated in the donation process

Blood donation facilities were established at five schools, Piri Piri restaurant and Kinondo Kwetu Hospital.

178 volunteers contributed, giving 142 pints of blood.

Donors were provided with medical forms to record their health information and had their weight, blood pressure, body temperatures, HB level and blood groups recorded by the medical staff.
