Celebration today! 36 more toddlers have celebrated their 2nd anniversary without HIV

Since 2015, HIV-positive women have been enrolled in the mentor mother program to promote safe childcare and to ensure that babies born from HIV-positive mothers are not infected. In total, 148 children in this program have celebrated a HIV-free 2nd anniversary. No child in this program has been HIV-infected.
Today, we celebrated that 36 babies in this program has celebrated their 2nd anniversary as HIV-negative this year. This was celebrated today at with cake for the children and their parents at Kinondo Kwetu Hospital.
