Kinondo Kwetu Hospital is entrusted to continue its HIV health care for 5 more years

Since many years, Kinondo Kwetu Hospital runs a comprehensive care program with regards to HIV.
It comprises care for infected patients and outreaching activities to locate infected persons and bring them to care, as well as safeguarding that babies born by infected mothers will not be infected and will stay HIV negative when they grow up.
Kinondo was recently trusted by LVCT Health to continue this work for another 5 years period. The program is financed by USAID.

Toddlers born by HIV-infected mothers celebrate their HIV-negative anniverary.

The current number of HIV-patients was in September 872. During the 12 year period from October 2020 to September -2021, 65 HIV positive mothers were delivered at Kinondo Kwetu Hospital. None of these babies are infected by HIV.
