Paulina from Sweden volunteered at Kinondo Kwetu Medical Center

​Paulina from Sweden has left Kinondo after two months of volunteer work. She contributed very much to the work at the health center and her energy and enthusiasm was much appreciated by the staff.
Paulina herself says that, thanks to the patient and helpful staff, she was introduced to much of the work, like assisting at deliveries, learning about dressing wounds and reading X-rays, and taking part at school outreaches, among other things. She says that, besides her new knowledge of medicine, she was taught a lot about African culture, the beauty and struggle of living a village life in a developing country.
 
She also says that she is now surer than ever about wanting to fulfil her dream of becoming a doctor.
