Pure water at Kinondo Kwetu Hospital

One major problem at Kinondo Kwetu Hospital has been the poor condition of the water. The high salinity has caused damage to the equipment and shortened its lifespan by many years.

Thanks to a donation from King Baudouin Foundation, the hospital has been able to acquire a solar powered desalination installation that has now been in use for some time, with very good results. This also means that patients and staff can enjoy the clean drinking water.
